Camps are open to all. Each one states the minimum and maximum ability level it’s pitched at, so you can tell whether it suits your swimmer before you register. Registering interest is also how I gauge numbers — if demand is high I’ll put on more than one camp and tailor each to a level, rather than stretching a single session across too wide a range.
Sixteen swimmers maximum and never more than four to a lane. Each camp runs with a coach, a demonstrator in the water and a poolside helper. Smaller, more focused camps will appear as the schedule grows.
Yes — enhanced DBS, Swim England safeguarding trained and full public liability insurance. Certificates are available on request and are held on file with each host venue.
That depends on the venue rather than on me. Camps run in host facilities and each one sets its own rules on spectators, so the camp page will say what’s possible before you book. Where parents can watch, I’d encourage it — seeing the drills makes the conversation on the drive home a lot more useful.
All the swimming equipment they’d use in normal training: two costumes, two towels, goggles plus a spare pair, a cap and a full water bottle. Each camp says whether snacks or a full packed lunch are needed, since that depends on how long the day runs.
Nothing is payable at the interest stage. When a camp is booked I email registered families a link to payment first and the camp goes live on the website 24 hours later — so registering genuinely does put you at the front of the queue. Payment is by bank transfer for now; a proper booking system will follow.
A full refund will be granted if cancellation is made 14 days prior to the start date of the training camp. A 50% refund will be granted if cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to the start date of the training camp. If the camp is cancelled by reasons other than self-cancellation, a full refund will be granted.
